A collaboration dinner with Foreign Cinema & Diaspora Co. brings together two Bay Area institutions: one with a storied culinary legacy, the other shaping the future of how we cook and source spices. Hosted at Foreign Cinema, the evening pairs the restaurant’s iconic approach to seasonal California cooking with the vibrant, single-origin spices of Diaspora Co., celebrating flavor, craft, and intention in equal measure.
The dishes will draw inspiration from Foreign Cinema’s legendary cookbook alongside dishes informed by Diaspora Co.’s upcoming release (out March 3, 2026), creating a dinner that honors tradition while looking forward. Expect thoughtful, spice-driven plates, deep aromatics, and a collaborative spirit that reflects shared values around sourcing, storytelling, and food that connects us to place.
Note: this is a non ticketed a la carte menu
